OLMA HIGH PERFORMANCE COMPRESSION SPRING
High performance OLMA compression springs are made of SH Steel, Stainless Steel, preferably in Chrome Silicium and for wire diameters greater than 9 mm in Chrome Vanadium.
They are classified in 6 categories of stiffness (T0 = EXTRA STRONG, T1 = STRONG, T2 = AVERAGE, T2 BIS = LIGHT, T3 = VERY LIGHT, T4 = EXTRA LIGHT).
The springs (wire diameter 0.4mm) have squared ground ends.
Springs 1000 mm long have unmolded free ends.
They are usually blasted to improve their life.
The maximum temperature of use is 150° C.
ONE METER SPRING (COMPRESSION OR TENSION)
WARNING ! One-meter Steel springs are not heat-treated after winding to facilitate cutting and shaping.
After cutting and shaping, you need to provide spring stabilization at a temperature of 260° C for 30 minutes, and air cooling.
This stabilization income will allow to freeze the mechanical characteristics of the spring, for optimal performance of it.
